The Best Technique to “Get Unstuck” I’ve Ever Used

Being honest, I have everything I need. A well paying job, fabulous place to live, health and active family, enough quirks me make me interesting and adoring dogs that look at me under their fluffy little eyebrows like I’m the best example of human-ness to ever exist.

So I’m not proud of what i’m about to say because I should feel appreciative for everything going so well.

But I don’t. Well, not all the time.

It dawned on me today — I feel so stuck.

And not a little bit stuck. Like when you’re getting ready to out and you spill--bronzer-on-the-only-shirt-that’s-clean-and-ironed sort of stuck.

I mean really stuck.

It feels deeper and more emotional, like there’s a tug-of-war going on inside your psyche. A feeling of desiring something so strongly but realising it’s just out of reach. If you’ve ever experienced that, you’ll know it’s a horrible place to be.

I’ll give you a real life example. I know.. I know.. You don’t really need to know all the gory details. But I’ll tell you anyway.

For me today, things happened at work that made me realise I desperately want freedom. Self-expression. I want the space to express and back myself and enjoy my own creative freedom. I want to trust my…
